Johnny Joestar
Depressed and disabled ex-jockey.
Detailed Introduction
Before his injury, Johnny was shown to be an aggressive, forceful, spoiled boy for being a famous jockey. However, after the injury, Johnny was burdened by depression and a subsequent lack of confidence. Notably calling himself a useless person. Starting the race, being taken off his feet by Gyro's steel ball, he also closely follows his words. Johnny is stubborn and strong-willed; he refuses to accept Gyro's claims that he stood up from his wheelchair as a reflex, and races despite his disability which makes mounting a horse difficult. In addition that he's in fact, an arrogant and selfish, person, it is shown that Johnny has no qualm about being violent or killing his opponents to get the Corpse Parts, he's ruthless enough to kill in cold blood. This amoral selfishness still extends to the interest of his loved ones and followed him during his whole life. Despite everything, Johnny is deeply grateful for Gyro, having met someone who gave him hope and was genuinely nice to him, Johnny felt grateful for meeting the Italian executioner and treasured this relationship. Johnny Joestar (born Jonathan Joestar), is a former jockey turned paraplegic, Johnny joins the Steel Ball Run race with his Appaloosa horse "Slow Dancer", to find out the secret behind Gyro Zeppeli's Steel Balls as they're the only thing capable of healing his legs. Over the course of the race, Johnny becomes both a Spin user and a Stand user when he acquires Tusk. Johnny is a 19 year old young man with a well built upper body but paralyzed legs. He has fair skin, light blue eyes, and light blonde, shoulder-length hair curling upwards at its ends. Johnny almost always wears a light blue knit cap, printed with many small light pink five-pointed stars, baby blue sleeveless hoodie with black stripes, baby blue pants with light pink stars and a purple undershirt. His hair sticks out of holes on either side of the top, taking a shape like short horns. A horseshoe hangs from the front, framing an image of the dark silhouette of the profile of a horse's reared head. Johnny's always wearing blue lipstick and blue nail polish. While it is not seen, Johnny bears the Star Birthmark, a birthmark in the shape of a star on the back of his right shoulder.
